When something breaks or you have a question, reach the Givebear team directly. The more detail you send, the faster support can investigate.

Email support

For most issues, email [email protected]. This is the fastest route for account, payment, kiosk, and event questions.

Write to [email protected] from your work email.

Put a clear summary in the subject line, like "Recurring gift failed for donor".

Include the details from the checklist below.

Attach a screenshot or screen recording if you have one.

Support replies within 24 hours. Weekend support is prioritized for live fundraising events.

Other ways to reach the team

Use the channel that fits your need.

Donors can reach out from their supporter portal too. The "Contact support" link there opens a pre-addressed email. See the donor portal guide.

What to include

Send these details with every request. They let support find the right record fast.

  • Your organization name.
  • The page, public link, or kiosk device involved.
  • The approximate date and time it happened.
  • Who reported it and what they expected.
  • What actually happened instead.
  • A screenshot, recording, or any reference number you can see.

Payment and donation issues

Add these when a gift, payment, or payout looks wrong.

  • The donation type: online, recurring, event ticket, or kiosk.
  • The donor email, if you know it.
  • The amount and the fund, campaign, or event.
  • Whether your Stripe connection and billing setup are complete.

For background on how payments and payouts work, see donations and finance. Fee questions are answered on the pricing page.

Kiosk issues

Add these for a kiosk or card reader problem.

  • The device name.
  • Whether the device was online.
  • The card reader state.
  • The fund or event selected and the amount.
  • Whether any offline payments were still pending.

Try the kiosk troubleshooting guide first. It resolves the most common reader and pairing problems.

Event issues

Add these for an event, ticket, or registration problem.

  • The event name and ticket type.
  • The registrant email.
  • The payment state, if the ticket was paid.
  • The stage it happened in: checkout, registration, check-in, refund, or cancellation.

See event payments, refunds, and cancellations and check-in and reporting for self-serve fixes.
