Fees and pricing
What Givebear costs and what comes out of each gift.
How much does Givebear cost?
The Free plan is $0 a month. Plus is $29 and Growth $39 a month billed annually, or $39 and $54 month to month. Paid plans lower the platform fee and raise contact and email limits. Every plan includes the kiosk app, giving pages, event ticketing, and the donor CRM.
What fees come out of each gift?
Two. Stripe's card processing (2.9% + $0.30 online, 2.7% + $0.05 at a kiosk) is passed through at cost. Givebear's flat platform fee is 5.9% on Free, 2.9% on Plus, and 1.9% on Growth, the same rate online, at kiosks, and on membership dues. The rest pays out to your bank through Stripe.
Can donors cover the fees so we receive the full gift?
Yes. At checkout, donors can choose to add the fees on top of their gift, so the full intended amount reaches your organization. The option appears on online giving pages and on kiosks.
Is there a contract or monthly minimum?
No. Monthly plans have no setup fee, no monthly minimum, and no cancellation fee. Annual plans are a twelve-month prepay at a lower rate, and you can move back to monthly at renewal. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your dashboard at any time.
Kiosk hardware

How much does a donation kiosk cost?
It is a one-time purchase: $999 for the 21.5" wall-mount model and $1,099 for the 21.5" floor stand. There is no hardware lease and no separate kiosk subscription.
Does a donation kiosk need Wi-Fi?
We recommend your building's Wi-Fi or ethernet for the fastest experience. For off-site events and galas, cellular options are available, so a dinner at a rented venue can still take tap-to-pay gifts.
Can I run the kiosk app on my own iPad or tablet?
No. The kiosk runs on dedicated Givebear hardware with a built-in payment terminal, locked to donation mode. The kiosk software is included in every plan with no separate subscription.
Can one organization run kiosks at multiple locations?
Yes. Every kiosk is managed from one dashboard, so a mosque with two campuses or a charity placing kiosks at partner events can update screens and funds remotely, without touching each device.
Receipts and compliance
Tax receipts, kiosk receipts and restricted funds.
Are the tax receipts compliant?
You enter your organization's legal details and tax ID during setup, and Givebear uses them and your tax status in automated email receipts. For US 501(c)(3) organizations, verified status enables the tax-deductible language.
Do donors get a receipt for kiosk donations?
Yes. After tapping to give, the donor can enter an email on the kiosk screen to get an automated receipt. Kiosk gifts are recorded on the donor's profile, so year-end statements include them alongside online gifts.
Can donations be designated to specific funds like Zakat or a building fund?
Yes. You create named funds, such as Zakat, Sadaqah, Building Fund, or Missions, and they appear as buttons on the kiosk and your giving page. Each fund is tracked separately, so restricted gifts stay separate for your treasurer.
Getting started
Setup, donor imports, recurring gifts and your website.
How long does setup take?
You can publish a giving page once you create an account and finish Stripe verification, which depends on your organization's details. A kiosk arrives configured for your organization and needs power, a network connection, and a test donation before launch.
Can I import donors from my current platform?
Yes. Export your donor records as a CSV from your current platform and import them into the Givebear CRM, including giving history and contact details. Our team can help map the fields.
Can donors set up recurring giving?
Yes. Donors can set up weekly or monthly gifts from your giving page and manage or cancel them from a self-service link, without contacting your staff. Failed charges are retried automatically.
Does Givebear work with my existing website?
Yes. The embed SDK adds a donation form or button to any site with one script tag, and WordPress setup is documented. Your Givebear giving page also works on its own.
